Associate Professor Richard Vojlay has been providing solutions to vision problems for four decades. As a clinician, he prides himself on his diagnostic skills and personalised patient care, always seeking to deliver the best outcome for each person with compassion.
He is widely acknowledged as one of the best contact lens practitioners in Australia with the ability and willingness to explore all options regardless of the complexity of the problem, especially where the keratoconus and corneal grafts are involved.
Richard has very close ties with the leading ophthalmologists in Melbourne, particularly with those who specialise in areas such as glaucoma and retinal abnormalities. Corneal specialists regularly refer patients for Richard’s expert contact lens care.
Richard previously had a practice in Camberwell for almost 30 years, developing this practice into an internationally recognised centre of excellence with an emphasis on advanced contact lens fitting. He ceased consulting in Camberwell in 2020. He is currently sharing his knowledge and experience through lecturing and clinical teaching at The University of Melbourne and Flinders University.
